About John
I have been playing and performing on piano for over 35 years. I learned the basics of reading music and played classically for many years. I then mastered the art of reading chord charts and using the theory of music began to play more than just the chords but the color and emotion that comes from a stellar performance. I have a bachelors degree in music education and have years of experience in teaching students the language of music.

I work based on your level of experience! Beginner? No problem. We can get you started playing in the first lesson. Already have some knowledge?We can work with what you know and build on that. Students have come from all skill sets and backgrounds and I have taught them to take their playing to the next level. I specialize in teaching music theory to help students go beyond the notes on the page and unlock the limitless potential you have in your hands.
