About Amanda
I live in Houston, TX and was recently an orchestra director in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. I have taught students of all ages, from 6 to adult on cello. Currently, I am teaching in-person private lessons in Houston area districts and teaching online while also offering music business consulting services and regular performances online and in-person.

I studied cello with soloist Andres Diaz and have performed across the US and Europe as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician. As a cello teacher, I believe in a kindness and compassion centered educational philosophy that remains rigorous and engaging, with high standards and big results.
