I've been playing guitar for over 10 years, I have a degree in music from the University of Adelaide, I have been giving lessons for 3 years now and have taught various students around Australia, who have then gone on to do school plays and forming their own bands.

My teaching method is based upon what I've learnt over the years as a student myself (I'm still learning new things every day). My teaching method is:
First establishing what my students know before going into a lesson
Keep my lessons simple and nothing to overpowering, focus on the basics first
Focus on technique over theory as most don't know much theory and learn by ear
I maintain flexibility and don't demand of my students
Encourage students to do exercises and practice to develop their playing strength
