About Marina
I am a highly qualified piano teacher with a finished Masters Degree ( Master of Arts and Music Performance ) at Music Academy in Zagreb. I've taught students for as long as I have worked as a piano teacher on the same academy, where I started working as soon as I finished studying.
I specialized as a Collaborative Pianist and as such took part in numerous competitions, seminars and concerts with many of the greatest musicians in Croatia, and performed in many ensembles all over Europe and farther.
I have a wealth of experience in teaching children from 6 years to adults of all ages. Altough I specialized in classical music, I am open to teaching my students to play pieces of all genres.

My teaching method is based on warm and friendly, yet professional relation with students, adapting to each student indvidually, based on their current skills, age, experience and personality .
During the lesson we would focus on several aspects of music and performance, always starting with easier pieces and basic music theory combined with technical exercises such as scales, chords etc.. We then pursue with more difficult pieces, based on the improvement, following each student's individual progress.
I put a strong emphasis on note reading from the very beginning, because I think that is the best and fastest way to make progress.
My current class' age range from 6 - 60 year olds, from complete beginners to professionals.
