About Julia
I’ve been teaching piano since I was 15 shortly after I passed Grade 8 - to help out students of a teacher who had passed away. I worked as a pianist and teacher early in my career, but switched course entirely to another path in marketing but never lost my love for the piano or indeed teaching those who really want to learn. I teach in my spare time, and this makes me incredibly focused on my students who in turn benefit from my joy in teaching them. I’m driven to help people become the pianist they want to be - whatever that looks like for them - it’s a personalised and empathetic approach that works.
