About Queralt
Full-scholarship graduate from Berklee College of Music (Performance and Theory of Jazz and Popular Song) and Summa Cum Laude graduate from ESMUC, Barcelona (Classical Performance and Music Pedagogy), I bring a rich blend of classical excellence and contemporary innovation to my teaching. Currently mentored by renowned violinist Sara Caswell, I've performed with Grammy-winning artists and at prestigious venues across the US and Spain. My performance experience spans collaborations with jazz legends Kenny Barron and Joe Lovano, membership in Eugene Friesen's Berklee World Strings, and performances with Latin Grammy-winning group Las Migas. As a composer and arranger, I create original works blending Catalan traditions with classical, jazz, and Brazilian influences. My diverse educational background in both classical and contemporary music allows me to offer comprehensive instruction in classical technique, contemporary styles, improvisation, and music theory for all string instruments. Whether you're interested in traditional classical repertoire or exploring innovative approaches to string playing, I'll create a personalized learning path to help you achieve your musical goals.

As a Berklee College of Music graduate and holder of degrees in Music Pedagogy and Classical Performance from ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) in Barcelona, I offer a uniquely comprehensive approach to teaching cello. I believe in tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs, interests, and goals.
Whether you're passionate about classical repertoire like Bach, eager to explore improvisation, or interested in incorporating singing with your playing, I can guide you on your musical journey. My extensive background spans multiple genres and techniques, making me equally comfortable teaching traditional classical methods, music theory, or helping you venture into innovative contemporary styles. I welcome students of all string instruments who want to explore different musical styles, improvisation, and creative expression.
