About Josh
I started flying in RAAus, and converted the certificate to a Private Pilot Licence.
Following this I gained a night VFR rating, Commercial Licence and Instrument Rating. I have also completed the theory exam (PMI) for a flight instructor rating.
I have been working in the aviation industry for a survey company for over 4 years, experienced the ever changing and unpredictable nature of piloting, and put my knowledge learned from CPL and IFR studies to the test.
I will use the knowledge and experience I've gained over the last 8 years of study and work in aviation to ensure you are ready for the CASA exams.

Studying aviation isn't always as fun as flying. I was one of the ones who underestimated the level of theory knowledge required for a pilot licence. I can help you overcome the motivational hurdles of studying, while assisting you to develop your own understanding of the content required to pass the precarious CASA exams. In my opinion you learn a lot more from developing your own way of understanding something than you can from rote (memorisation) learning.
I have assisted a number of friends/fellow aviation students with their studies, including my wife! I can combine a solid grounding of the theory with actual real-life scenarios to ensure that you not only pass your exams, but walk away with a foundation of knowledge to build your skills as a pilot. Each session is tailored to the individual since everyone learns in a different way. I can help to find and reinforce the way you learn best.
