About Ollie
Hello, I'm Ollie. I am an Engineering graduate and currently studying for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence. Mathematics has been central to both my academic studies and professional interests, from engineering and statistics to machine learning and data science.
I enjoy helping students develop confidence in maths and seeing concepts "click" after they have been struggling with them. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build a deeper understanding of the subject and stronger problem-solving skills.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of providing a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment. I tailor lessons to each student's needs and aim to make maths approachable, engaging, and rewarding.

I focus on building a strong understanding of the underlying concepts rather than memorisation alone. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and combine worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions. My aim is to help students develop confidence and become independent problem-solvers.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although 90-minute sessions can be arranged for A-Level students or exam preparation.
I am a current MSc Artificial Intelligence student and Engineering graduate with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and problem solving. I have experience explaining mathematical concepts to peers and helping others understand challenging topics in a clear and accessible way. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I also have experience teaching at university level.
