About Maasha

I’ve always loved math, especially solving problems and figuring out how to get to the right answer. I enjoy understanding how things work, and that’s one of the things that makes math so interesting. I also enjoy helping others understand it, especially when a topic that seemed difficult at first starts to make sense. 
I have teaching experience and an MSc in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from the UK. As a tutor, I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand that everyone learns differently. I take the time to explain things clearly, answer questions, and work at each student’s pace. I want you to feel comfortable asking for help and, most importantly, to become more confident in your own abilities.

About My Lessons
I know math can feel difficult when the basics aren’t fully clear. Sometimes, a different explanation and a little extra practice can make all the difference. My goal is to help you understand the why behind what you’re learning, build a strong foundation, and become more confident solving problems on your own.
I will explain concepts in simple steps and encourage you to ask questions whenever you’re unsure. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons to your needs and pace, giving you extra support wherever you need it.

What My Lessons Look Like
We’ll start with a quick recap of the previous lesson, then work through the day’s topic using clear explanations, examples, and practice questions. I can also help with homework, review school topics, and prepare for tests.
At the end, we’ll revise the key points and try a few questions to see what you have understood and what needs more practice. My aim is to help you feel comfortable with math, understand concepts rather than simply memorise formulas, and gradually become more independent learners.
