About Kristina
Being a master’s student in MSc Social and Cultural Psychology at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), I possess an excellent understanding of the essay writing process, be it a short or a long written piece of work. In addition to that, I have a strong grasp of the critical thinking and analytical skills, crucial to succeed in higher education. The modules that I have already undertaken in my degree are as follows: Political Psychology (74% obtained), The Social Psychology of Economic Life (71% obtained), Contemporary Social and Cultural Psychology, Psychological and Behavioural Science. Having completed an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and graduated with an upper-class honours degree from the University of Nottingham, I am familiar with both IB curriculum and have extensive knowledge of communication and media studies. The subjects that I took in IB and would be happy to teach are: HL History (20th Century European History curriculum), HL English B, SL Geography. Moreover, I am able to advise on how to deliver a high-standard Extended Essay in History and other social sciences (IB). Finally, I have in-depth knowledge of qualitative research methods, using which I have produced a dissertation on how the forms of art can serve as a means to empower homeless individuals. Some of the modules I have completed during my bachelor’s degree are the following: Communication and Culture, Political Communication, Public Relations and Propaganda, Public Cultures: Protest, Participation and Power. Since most of my undergraduate and postgraduate modules had a big component of Sociology, I would be happy to teach Communication, Sociology, Public Relations, Social Psychology, Cultural Psychology and Behavioural Science to undergraduate students.

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds.
