About Norah
I am a Physics tutor with over four years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics. My teaching goes beyond classical physics by integrating geophysics and earth sciences into core physics concepts. I help students understand plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics through clear explanations and real-world examples. Physics becomes more meaningful when it explains the behavior of our planet.
I teach Earth’s internal structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes using data analysis, visual models, and simplified simulations. Students learn how physical laws shape earthquakes, volcanic activity, and climate systems. I regularly work with environmental science students who want to strengthen their physics foundation. I also support learners interested in planetary science and Earth-like systems beyond our planet.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on building strong conceptual foundations before moving into formulas and calculations. I teach core areas such as Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, work, energy conservation, momentum, kinematics, and basic mathematical physics. Each topic is explained using real-life examples so students can clearly see how physical laws work in the real world. I emphasize active learning through problem-solving, diagrams, and step-by-step reasoning.
Students learn how to break complex problems into simple, logical steps. I give special attention to learners who are shifting careers or who enjoy deep theoretical thinking, helping them reconnect ideas with practical use. Mistakes are treated as learning tools, not failures. I provide continuous guidance and feedback to strengthen confidence.
My sessions focus on applying fundamental laws rather than memorizing equations. Practice problems are chosen to improve analytical thinking and exam performance. I ensure every student feels supported and motivated throughout their learning journey. By the end, students gain clarity, accuracy, and the ability to confidently apply physics principles.
