About Nishan
I'm Nishan, a Physics and Maths teacher with over ten years of classroom experience. I taught secondary Science and Maths back in Nepal, and most recently served as Head of the Science Department at my school, where our team achieved a 98 percent pass rate in the national board exams. I hold an MSc in Physics with a focus on Astrophysics, and I'm currently doing a second master's in Big Data and Data Science Technology at Northumbria University London. I genuinely enjoy helping students figure out the "why" behind the formulae, and I bring a lot of patience to that.

I keep my lessons calm and structured, focused on real understanding rather than just memorising formulae. Each session starts with a quick chat to see where the student is and what they're struggling with, and then we work through it together, step by step, using past papers and clear examples. I cover GCSE and A-Level Physics, Maths, and Science (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Cambridge specs). Homework help and written notes are part of every session. The first 30 minutes are free, so we can have a proper chat about what your child needs before committing to anything.
