About Alex
I have been teaching for 5 years now and have 6 years of post-secondary education under my belt. I specialized my courses in molecular biology at UBCO and follow my passion to Toronto to pursue my Master's in Medical Genomics. I am also quite personable and love to meet and create safe spaces for other people.

I have worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate students in microbiology and nursing biology at UBCO. Additionally, I have worked as an instructor with groups such as UBC Geering Up!, Let's Talk Science, and Genome BC's Geneskool. I love getting others as passionate about biology as I am. I also believe everyone learns differently and will personalize homework as we see necessary together :) I look forward to working with you.
