Ahmed and I know met each other and became very close friends at university. Ahmed has a unique capability in distilling complex concepts to his audience, and I have seen him do this with dozens of his peers throughout university. Personally, I was always frightened by econometric methods and other quantitative classes in a separate discipline I studied for, and it was thanks to Ahmed’s passionate teaching style with me, and others that I observed him teach, that I grew an intuitive understanding and curiosity for these topics. He makes it fun, relatable, and simple. After being fearful of these topics, I not only excelled in the classes I took them in, but grew to choose a wide variety of options in them throughout my degree, and currently, specialize in them in graduate school.
