About Farjana
Hello! I’m Farjana, and I love helping students learn maths and statistics. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Dhaka (Number 1 institute of my country) and a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Aston University. I have been tutoring for more than six years. During that time, I have helped many students improve their grades by one or two levels. I also guide undergraduates on how to use SPSS or R for data analysis, and I help adults who want to refresh their maths skills or prepare for professional tests. My lessons are perfect for GCSE and A-Level students who want to feel more confident and get better exam results. I also work with university students who need extra support in statistics or maths methods. Finally, I teach adults who wish to improve their arithmetic or learn how to handle data for their jobs. No matter your age or level, I tailor each lesson to fit your needs and help you succeed.

I start every lesson by making sure you understand the main ideas behind each topic. I explain why the formulae work, not just how to use them. Then we work on examples together, so you can practise and ask questions as we go. If you need more help, I slow down and give extra explanations. If you pick things up quickly, I give you harder problems to keep you challenged. A typical lesson lasts about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what we need to cover. We begin with a short review of what you learnt before, then dive into new material. After that, we spend time solving problems step by step. At the end, we look back at the hardest part of the lesson and decide what to practise before the next time we meet.
