About Jaylei
I know how tough studying can be, especially when certain subjects or topics just don’t seem to click. Having completed my GCSEs and A-levels with great results, and then going on to get two first-class degrees in Physiology and Physician Associate Studies, I’ve picked up loads of tips and strategies that I’d love to share to help others achieve their goals.
It all started with helping my younger sibling and cousins with their schoolwork, and later supporting friends at university who were struggling with tricky topics. Seeing how much of a difference it made for them really motivated me to want to teach.
When I tutor, I make sure to go at a pace that suits the student, breaking things down to make them less overwhelming. My goal is to help students fully understand the material and feel confident every step of the way.

As a fun and approachable tutor, I help students aged 7–16 excel in Maths, English, and Science from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. With a proven academic track record—10 A*-A grades at GCSE and two first-class degrees—I combine expertise with an energetic and engaging teaching style to make learning enjoyable and effective.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, breaking down tricky concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I incorporate real-world examples, interactive discussions, and creative problem-solving exercises to keep students motivated and confident in their abilities.
Each 60-minute session is thoughtfully structured to maximize learning. We’ll begin with clear and accessible teaching, followed by guided practice to build confidence. To reinforce understanding, I encourage students to "teach back" the topic—a powerful way to solidify their knowledge. From the very start, I integrate past paper questions into lessons to familiarize students with exam formats and equip them with the skills needed to excel under exam conditions.
