About Sophia
I am an MSc student studying Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics at the University of Nottingham.
I have a First Class Biomedical Science Degree from Anglia Ruskin University. I have a strong interest on disease causing mutations and the use of genetics to make preclincal diagnosis of life changing conditions i.e. Dementia.
I have really enjoyed helping to teach concepts to fellow students at university and assisting to run extracurricular clubs such as Dissection working on anatomical understanding whilst at High School.
I am a Youth Leader for St John Ambulance allowing me to teach groups of up to 30 a subject in both a classroom setting and on cadet camps.

I have learned a plethora of techniques to aid learning to allow my teaching style to be adapted depending on the learners needs.
I am experienced with helping students with additional learning needs such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Visual Stress and Autism.
