About Alma
I have over 4 years of experience tutoring Chemistry and hold a BA in Chemistry. I specialize in helping students explore polymer chemistry and materials synthesis. Together, we dive into polymerization mechanisms and study the unique properties of plastics, rubbers, and composites. I enjoy showing how the chemical structure of these materials directly affects their behavior in the real world. My teaching focuses on connecting microscopic chemistry to the macroscopic qualities of materials. This helps students understand why materials act the way they do, whether in everyday objects or advanced technologies.
