About Kelsey
I am a Chemistry tutor with 12 years of experience in guiding school and university students toward strong conceptual clarity and academic success. I hold an MSc in Analytical Chemistry and specialize in making complex chemical ideas simple and easy to understand. My teaching focuses on core concepts such as atomic structure, orbitals, chemical bonding, and molecular interactions. I also help students understand spectroscopic behavior using clear visual models and step-by-step explanations.
I use diagrams, real-life examples, and logical reasoning to make abstract topics more meaningful. My approach combines both theoretical depth and practical understanding to strengthen problem-solving skills. I give special attention to building a strong foundation in physical, organic, and analytical chemistry. Topics like quantum numbers, hybridization, IR spectroscopy, and NMR interpretation are explained in an easy and structured way. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically rather than memorizing content.
With consistent practice and guided learning, students gain confidence in handling complex chemistry problems. My goal is to help learners perform well in exams while also developing a genuine interest in Chemistry. My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on building strong fundamentals and clear conceptual understanding. I help learners connect theory with real-life applications so Chemistry becomes easy to relate and remember. My sessions cover important areas like acid base chemistry, pH calculations, buffer solutions, and titration methods. I also include chemical equilibrium, ionic equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and organic reaction basics for a complete learning experience.
I focus on step by step problem solving so students can understand how to approach each question confidently. Special attention is given to numerical problems in pH, buffers, and equilibrium calculations to improve accuracy and speed. I encourage students to think like researchers by asking questions and exploring the reasoning behind reactions. My experience in competitive level preparation and Olympiad style problems helps in strengthening analytical thinking.
Practice is an important part of my teaching method. Regular assignments and mock questions are given to improve exam readiness. I also guide students in developing strong problem solving skills for school and university level exams. My goal is to make learners confident in chemical calculations and help them achieve excellence in Chemistry.
