About Rhea
I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Chemistry. I specialize in helping students understand the principles of green chemistry and sustainable synthesis. My sessions are designed to show how chemistry can be both exciting and environmentally responsible. I guide students through key concepts like atom economy, catalysis, and solvent-free reactions. Together, we explore how to design chemical processes that minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. I make complex ideas simple by using clear examples and real-world applications. I’ve worked with school and university students, helping them not only excel academically but also think critically about chemistry’s role in the world. My approach emphasizes responsible chemical practices and encourages students to innovate with sustainability in mind. I integrate interactive discussions and visual tools to reinforce learning. We tackle topics like renewable feedstocks, biodegradable products, and safer reaction conditions. I support students with assignments, exam prep, and project work. My background in medical technology and wildlife photography allows me to connect chemistry with sustainability, ecosystems, and human well-being.
We explore topics like renewable materials, water purification, and eco-friendly reactions. I support students in exam preparation, assignments, and practical applications. I especially enjoy guiding those passionate about nature, medicine, and sustainable innovations. I create a safe space where questions are welcome, and progress is celebrated. My aim is to spark curiosity and inspire a deep appreciation for chemistry’s role in building a healthier planet.
