About Hazel
I am a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Chemistry. I specialise in helping students explore the fascinating world of polymer chemistry and materials synthesis. My lessons cover polymerisation mechanisms, material properties, and the practical applications of plastics, rubbers, and composites. I focus on connecting chemical structure to the macroscopic behaviour of materials, helping students see the big picture. I enjoy guiding students through both theory and real-world applications, making complex ideas accessible and engaging. My approach combines clear explanations with visual aids and relevant examples. I help students develop strong analytical skills to understand how materials are designed and improved.
