About Lisa
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals learn music with confidence. Teaching guitar is not just my profession but also my passion, and I enjoy guiding students at every stage of their musical journey.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, simplicity, and personal attention. I believe that every student has unique learning abilities, so I customise lessons according to their goals, skill level, and interests. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced techniques.
My lessons include chords, scales, rhythm training, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, music theory, ear training, and song learning. I make classes interactive and enjoyable so students stay motivated and develop a genuine interest in music.
During my 10 years of experience, I have successfully trained many students who have performed in school functions, college cultural events, and personal gatherings. Several students have continued playing guitar as a lifelong hobby and source of relaxation.
My goal is to help students become confident musicians while developing creativity, discipline, and a deep appreciation for music. I believe that learning guitar should be enjoyable, inspiring, and rewarding for every student.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has different learning abilities, and my role as a teacher is to guide them according to their individual needs and goals. I create a friendly and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and expressing themselves without hesitation.
I teach Guitar through a structured and progressive method. Beginners first learn proper posture, finger exercises, rhythm patterns, basic chords, and simple songs. Once students become comfortable with the basics, I gradually introduce scales, chord progressions, strumming techniques, fingerstyle methods, and performance skills. Advanced students are guided in improvisation, creativity, and musical expression.
I believe that consistency and strong fundamentals are the keys to success. Therefore, I encourage students to practise regularly and focus on understanding concepts rather than simply memorising them. I provide continuous feedback and motivate students to improve step by step.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, music notation, and basic songwriting. These additional subjects help students become complete musicians with a better understanding of music.
My goal is to help students build confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
