About Avery
With 9 years of experience as a Guitar tutor and professional performer, I am committed to mentoring school and college students to achieve their full musical potential. I guide learners carefully from beginner to advanced levels, ensuring they gain technical skill and confidence.
Some of my proudest milestones include students performing independently at school events, college functions, and competitions, overcoming stage fear, and expressing themselves confidently through music.
I focus on developing solid technical skills, including chord clarity, rhythm accuracy, scale exercises, finger coordination, and expressive playing, while encouraging creativity and personal musical style.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and adaptive, allowing students to progress at their own pace. My mission is to create confident, disciplined, and passionate guitarists who enjoy music for life.

My Guitar teaching methodology is grounded in Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students achieve both technical excellence and artistic confidence.
I begin by identifying each student’s learning style and musical goals, which allows me to design lessons that are structured yet flexible. Motivation is maintained by setting achievable weekly targets and recognising every improvement to keep students encouraged.
Communication is always clear and patient, as I explain chord progressions, rhythm accuracy, scale exercises, and finger positioning in simple, step-by-step methods. Integrity is reflected in my strong emphasis on proper posture, smooth transitions, clean tone production, and disciplined daily practice habits.
I provide honest and constructive feedback to guide consistent improvement. Creativity is developed through improvisation practice, songwriting exercises, and exploring diverse musical genres. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory and ear training for overall musical growth.
