About Phil
Hi, I’m a medical student currently studing at Monash University and recent Class of 2025 graduate with a strong passion for supporting students in achieving their full potential in VCE English. I graduated with an ATAR of 99.30 and a study score of 45 in VCE English, reflecting both my strong academic performance and in-depth understanding of what the subject requires for success.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and student-focused. I tailor each lesson to suit the individual’s learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement, while proactively identifying challenges and addressing them early. This ensures that my students demonstrate consistent progress and meaningful improvement with each session.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, and each session is structured consistently according to my student's desires.
Usually, this includes thoroughly reviewing areas of struggle and providing essay feedback, as well as concisely address specific areas of content and improvement. During classes, we also apply these concepts by unpacking topics, essay planning, or through close analysis exercises. I provide real-time feedback and model your written communications to suit the requirements of high-achieving responses.
By adapting explanations, resources, and lesson structures to suit each individual’s learning style, I aim to create a supportive environment where my students feel understood and capable. Ultimately, my approach prioritises not just mastering content, but building confidence, independence, and a genuine engagement with the subject to produce measurable improvements.
