About Nate
Hi, I’m Nathanael, a 24-year-old math tutor with several years of experience helping students from Years 4 to 12. I'm a recent graduate from Monash University, and after recently moving from Australia to New Zealand I have shifted fully to online tutoring. I am grateful that my students chose to continue learning with me through that transition. I see it as a sign that they’ve found value in the way I teach — clear, patient, and easy to understand. I started out doing mostly in-person tutoring, but have found that online sessions can be just as engaging and effective with the right approach. I really enjoy helping students gain confidence in math, especially those who feel like it’s just not their subject.

I help students in Years 4–12 understand math clearly and confidently. My approach is calm, patient, and tailored to each student — breaking concepts down step by step, with real focus on why things work, not just how. Lessons are typically 1 hour and fully online (but can adjust to student's requirements), using screen sharing and interactive whiteboards. I’ve worked with a range of students, from those needing support to those aiming to get ahead, and I always aim to make math less stressful and more doable.
