About Alexander
Having two degrees from MIT in electrical engineering, I have always loved math and science, but even more, I have always loved teaching. I left my job as an engineer to pursue my passion in education after tutoring part-time for years, and I have loved every moment of now focusing on it full-time. You can rest assured that I will bring my 14 years of experience to each and every lesson with you!

I structure my first lesson as an evaluation to see where you're at, to get to know your goals, and to find any gaps in your understanding. Then, I structure the following lessons specifically around what areas need the most review in order for you to reach your goals. What sets me apart is that I really tailor my lessons individually to your needs, and I curate practice problems and explanations to what will help you progress the fastest. I have lots of experience doing this for middle school through adult ages!
