About Jessica

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Geoscience with a concentration in operational and broadcast meteorology. I am well-versed in topics such as meteorology, climatology, science writing, geology, hydrology, earth science, research, essay writing, journalism, and more.

About the lesson

I have been studying meteorology and earth science for decades and have a great passion for these topics. I have extensive first-hand experience applying what I’ve learned in the field and bring that passion and expertise to the classroom where I can help students learn and apply tough concepts. I’m very patient and personable, and make it my mission to ensure students understand their material and walk away feeling confident about the knowledge and skills they learn from me.

Jessica's response
I have really enjoyed working with Jennie and her son. He has a clear passion for weather and is very knowledgeable already in many different weather processes and how to apply them to nowcasting. We are continuing to work on developing a deeper understanding of atmospheric processes related to severe and tropical weather, and I hope we can continue making great progress in these areas.
