About Kim
I am a mom of an amazing eight year old son. I have traveled to 17 different countries and love to go on adventures. I love cultures and learning all I can about them. I believe our world is bigger than just the United States and we have so much to learn from getting out of our bubble. I was a missionary for 12 years until COVID shut it down. I love people and sharing the world with them!
I love to do zumba with my friends and God is my life.

I use stories based around grammar and the most frequently used vocabulary words. As young ones, we don't learn our first language with grammar lessons but in practical daily usage which is what my style is based off of. I also include fun internet activities to practice the grammar and vocabulary as well. Youtube also has some fantastic fun songs to help us learn vocabulary. These lessons are for middle-adult age learners. I have taught Spanish 1-3.
If you are a younger student just starting out I'd focus more on fun vocabulary segments and songs and work our way into stories.
Now if you learn best through memorization I can work with that as well. With being a teacher I have to be able to have activities that are broad for a wide range of learners. No matter what I will do my best for us to have a fun and enjoyable time learning :)!
