About Svetla
My name is Mrs. Aleksandrova. Originally I am from Bulgaria. I have lived in the United Kingdom since 2019. My dream always was to help people to develop themselves and make their dreams become true. As my personal experience, when I first came to the UK, the language barrier was stopping me from realising my dreams, of becoming a teacher. After a few years of individual studying and working on my level of English, I successfully finished my undergraduate studies and had the opportunity to work closely with students, from different backgrounds, countries, learning styles and levels of English. From my experience I have learned that many people want to develop and grow, however they do not have the right support and individual experience with teachers or organisations. Many educational providers do not support creative activities and do not provide their students the opportunity to learn and create their own path of learning style, methodology and future goals. As I had experienced the same pressure from institutions since I was a kid I offer my students an open learning, to make as many mistakes as they do, as it is a very significant part of their studies and to focus on their interests, which will help them in their future career paths.

I have experience working as a Director of Student Union, Course Rep and Peer Assisted Learning. Those opportunities mixed with my experience as a student in the UK, open my passion and give me the knowledge to help individuals, to develop themselves and increase their level of English. My personal Moto is: " The language opens doors". My teaching methodology is based on the student's needs, their level of English and their learning style. I do my sessions online, through Zoom. If the students are local and prefer face-to-face sessions, we can arrange it for them. Our first session will be FREE and my mission is to examine the student's level of English, their learning style and find the gaps which they need to work on. In the next sessions we will work on increasing the level of English: *homework (in the form of games and connect it with the student's interest) *The sessions are 60 min per lesson * My advice is to attend 2-3 times per week (as the students need to absorb the information, give a rest to their mind and do their normal activities during the week) *They will create a plan and discuss with the student, how our sessions will be delivered. * The sessions timeline: Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm *The sessions are booked 1 week prior. *Student Age (18 to 65)
