About Brandon
I wish I was able to say that I'm one of those fortunate people who has been playing the piano since they were 6 years old. Unfortunately, that is not my story. I am someone who, at the age of 18, woke up one morning and decided that I wanted to learn how to play. I began teaching myself in April of 2012. By January of 2013, I became the youngest Minister of Music in my church's history. I did not achieve such a feat because I'm some gifted "prodigy", rather, through hard work, and learning techniques that I developed over the years that has made learning the piano very easy to understand. Currently, I have a piano student at the age of 13 who recently was a finalist in a national competition after only 7 months under my tutelage. If we can do it, so can you!

About the lesson

Lessons will be taught at the pace of the student. We will always start by first developing an understanding of the piano; focusing mainly on the "why" as opposed to jumping straight to the "how". Students will learn how to play songs using both musical theory and their ear. Due to lessons being virtual, my hours are extremely flexible. Whether you are a beginner starting from scratch, intermediate looking to get to the next level, or even a seasoned vet simply looking to be introduced to new concepts, all are welcome.
