I am currently a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Amistad Academy Middle School in New Haven. I have also served as a Freelance Tutor, a Tutor for Kumon, and a part-time Nanny for children of ages 5 all the way up to 17.

Whether the setting is the formal classroom or a standardized testing environment, Math problems can be made to deceive and challenge young Scholars. And so, I believe it's important to hang with the student as they form their own conclusions and perceptions of difficult problems.
