About Kara
I graduated from UNCC with a major in mathematics. I have three years of classroom experience as a math teacher in both middle school and high school. However, I have many more years of tutoring experience as I started tutoring as a freshman in high school. This is where I began to grow my love for both math and teaching.

My teaching method is student led. I believe that students learn best if they are able to learn and see things for themselves rather than just given a formula to plug numbers into. My hope for all my students is that they learn to love the art of math while also gaining skills they can use in every area of their lives.
