About Maksym
Passionate about information technology since school. I studied Computer Engineering in two universities, first in Kiev, Ukraine, where I obtained my first degree, and later, in Modena, Italy I obtained my master's degree in Computer Engineering with honors. To complete, I passed the state exam with a positive result. Since my university days I have started working in the IT consultancy sector. I am a strong believer in continuing education and really enjoy sharing knowledge with others. I often attend various tech conferences both in Italy and abroad (online events).
I come from a family of teachers, and after many years working in the private sector, I would like to share my knowledge with all interested students. I am always available even outside of class hours.

This course is to introduce the concept of software architectures oriented towards the use of microservices. We will talk about possible approaches to design, build, install and manage microservices-based systems using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm Chart.
The structure of the course includes these topics:
1) Introduction to microservices architecture: concept of microservices, benefits and challenges
2) Introduction to Docker: Docker overview, main components, building containerized applications
3) Building microservices with Docker: Building applications based on microservices using Docker and Docker Compose
4) Introduction to Kubernetes: Overview of Kubernetes, architecture and use to manage containerized applications
5) Deploying microservices using Kubernetes: Deploying microservices-based applications using Kubernetes.
6) Introduction to Helm Chart: Helm3 architecture, comparison with Helm2, use of Helm for application releases on Kubernetes cluster.
7) Advanced Topics: Scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting microservice-based applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Chart.
