About Marcella
Teaching exists because I find joy in guiding voices from their very first notes to the demands of professional performance. 13 years of dedicated instruction inform my ability to support students from nervous beginners to grade-exam candidates. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Curtis Institute of Music.
My approach remains grounded in meeting you exactly where you stand today. Honestly, I simply love the work.
My methodology integrates sight singing, vocal health, and stage fear management alongside diction, articulation, and belting techniques. I prioritize exam preparation, vocal range extension, pitch control, and vibrato control to ensure comprehensive growth. My role involves listening acutely to guide your subtle adjustments in real time. We close by ensuring that your next practice session is clear and purposeful. Homework vocal drills are assigned after every session to consolidate your progress. Expect a supportive environment that prioritizes your sustained development over quick fixes.
