About Mobeen
I grew up in Kilkenny, Ireland, and completed my university studies in Limerick. I am currently continuing my education at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. Alongside my academic journey, I have gained over two years of experience as a math tutor, working with students of different levels to help them grow in confidence and ability. My approach is patient, structured, and adaptable to each student’s needs. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can succeed in math. I aim to make lessons clear and engaging so that students not only improve their grades but also develop a stronger understanding of the subject. Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning languages and reading, as well as staying active through swimming and running, which I recently took up for health reasons. These interests help me bring balance, discipline, and a positive attitude into my teaching.

Every student has the potential to succeed in maths when concepts are explained clearly and taught in a way that suits their learning style. My lessons focus on building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and increasing confidence so students feel more comfortable tackling challenging topics.
I use step-by-step explanations, plenty of worked examples, and encourage active participation through practice questions. I often break down difficult problems into smaller, manageable parts and guide students until they can solve them independently. I also tailor my approach to each student—whether they need to catch up, strengthen weak areas, or aim for top grades.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. This usually includes a short recap of previous material, explanation of new concepts, guided practice, and time for the student to apply what they’ve learned with support. I also provide feedback and tips for independent practice.
I graduated in summer of 2024 with an MEng in Biomedical Engineering and have two years of tutoring experience. I’ve helped students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and gain confidence in maths at various levels.
These lessons are designed for Junior and Leaving Cert students at all levels.
