About Phil
I’m in my mid-fifties and have spent my whole life in the music world. I began as a music journalist interviewing rock stars in my teens, and spent my twenties in bands playing around the UK, Europe and as far afield as Brazil even (another remarkable musical universe!). I’ve played in front of tiny audiences and at large festivals, at street parties, weddings and in many-a-studio. The more music and musicians in the world the better as far as I am concerned, so whether your dream is to perform to millions or you just love music so want to get in on the game for fun, or as a hobby, I’m always happy to help people with music - and every kid I teach I know I am ensuring the future of music too!
