About Matthew

I’m a medical student who achieved 4/4 medicine interview offers, with first-hand experience of what top universities look for in candidates. Having supported other applicants, I understand the challenges and can break down complex topics into clear, practical strategies that boost confidence and performance. I can also provide you with tailored feedback and guidance for you to produce the best possible personal statement for UCAS.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully tailored to medicine interview preparation, focusing on MMI practice, role-plays, ethical scenarios, and current NHS hot topics. I provide personalised feedback, model answers, and proven strategies that helped me secure 4/4 offers. Together we’ll build confidence, structure clear answers, and master the skills admissions tutors are really looking for. Every session is interactive and adapted to your strengths and weaknesses to maximise your chances of success.

Matthew has been fantastic at helping me prep for my upcoming GAMSAT exam, going through in detail what is required in each section and the best tips to score well. This has significantly improved the scores I am getting, especially in Section 2 and 3 where my scores have jumped up by over 10 points in tests and past papers.

Matthew is an outstanding UCAT and GAMSAT tutor. He explains complex concepts easily and helped massively with exam technique for these exams. He had a real in-depth knowledge which I believe is very difficult to find elsewhere.
