About Eman
I am a first-year medical student with a strong passion for supporting and inspiring those around me. Alongside my interest in medicine, I have always enjoyed helping others grow academically and personally, and I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment for every student I work with.
During my gap year, I focused on developing my own skills, particularly my confidence, communication, and ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. This experience allowed me to learn from a wide range of students and gain a deeper understanding of the different approaches needed to make teaching effective and enjoyable.
I hope to bring this experience into my tutoring by adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, helping them build both their knowledge and confidence. I am committed to providing patient, professional, and supportive guidance to help students achieve their goals.

I offer lessons for secondary school students from Year 7 to Year 11, supporting learners of all abilities. Whether students are looking to strengthen their foundations or to improve their understanding of challenging topics, I tailor my teaching approach to meet their individual needs.
My teaching approach focuses on active recall, regular practice, and building a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. I believe students learn best when they actively engage with problems rather than memorising methods, so lessons are tailored to each student's learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement through an individual learning plan.
A typical lesson lasts one hour and includes reviewing previous topics, introducing new concepts, working through examples, and completing practice questions to reinforce understanding.

I’ve previously had Eman as my tutor and I’ve got nothing but nice things to say .
She helped me out so much with certain subjects that I was struggling with and always made sure I fully understood what I was doing before moving on to the next topic i highly recommend .Eman has been my tutor for Maths, but also English and Science. She has helped me go from failing grades to grades 5-8. I really appreciate how she always has a smile on her face and is open to new tactics to teach different children based on their preferences, and in a way that they would understand more.
