About Mrunal
Hello parents and future students,
My name is Mrunal, and I’m a 4th-year medical student with a degree in Immunology from King’s College London.
Over the past 4 years, I’ve tutored GCSE Biology through private companies and school programs, supporting students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. I have a genuine passion for teaching and take pride in helping students build confidence, independence, and strong exam skills as they prepare for their first public exams.
Alongside tutoring GCSE students, I also work part-time teaching anatomy to first- and second-year university students, a subject I’ve grown to love as an aspiring surgeon.
Outside of academics, I’m a keen sports enthusiast. I’ve played for the University Volleyball team, competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and swam and ran cross-country at school.
In short, I am a hardworking, adaptable, and well-rounded individual who is deeply committed to supporting students in both their academic success and personal growth.

With 4 years of teaching experience, I’ve learned that no two students learn in the same way. However, there are three key things every student must master to excel: the content, understanding what the examiner wants, and exam technique.
My lessons are typically one hour per subject, structured as follows:
- 15–20 minutes of focused teaching on key content
- 30 minutes of untimed practice questions to build understanding
- 20 minutes of timed practice questions to develop exam confidence
This approach helps students progress step by step: first by understanding the content, then by applying it, and finally by performing under exam conditions.
It may sound daunting at first, but most students quickly adapt. After just a few lessons, nervousness and self-doubt give way to confidence, clarity, and consistency.
