About Chase
As a current medical student with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, I bring both a deep understanding of the sciences and a passion for teaching. My Teaching Method & Techniques: I emphasize conceptual understanding before memorization. I use analogies, diagrams, practice questions, and active recall techniques to reinforce key ideas. A Typical Lesson Plan: Each session begins with a quick review of previously covered material to ensure retention. Then, we move on to new content, with guided explanations and interactive problem-solving. I also include time for questions, discussion, and test-taking strategies. At the end of each lesson, we summarize key takeaways and outline goals for the next session. I understand the challenges of rigorous coursework and pre-med preparation firsthand, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and empowered.
