About Maria
My name is Maria Azar. I am a medical student who gives private biology classes to high school or college students. I graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am now done with the first year of medical school. I’d love to help students understand the subject that interests me the most!

First, I like to make sure I understand the needs of my students, their strengths and weaknesses. My teaching methods are flexible, depending on each student. I make sure the session is interactive and I believe that a student teaching another student knows how to convey a simple straight-forward message. I try to break down complex subjects and give my students a solid base to be able to build on it later.
