About Julia
I am half French, half American, and currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Perfectly bilingual in French and English, I also speak Portuguese, Spanish, and Chinese. Having been born in Hong Kong and lived in the Bahamas, Brazil, and Singapore, I bring a truly international perspective to my teaching. Throughout my studies, I have consistently excelled in the French academic system, earning Mention Très Bien at the Baccalauréat, two Concours Général distinctions, and a Concours d’Éloquence award. This international background, combined with my academic achievements and multilingual skills, allows me to connect with students from diverse cultures and help them succeed in both sciences and languages.

Hi! I’m Julia, an incoming medical student at the University of Manchester, passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals with clarity and confidence. My Academic Background: • French Baccalauréat (SVT & SPC majors): Mention Très Bien distinction, with two Concours Général awards and multiple 20/20 top scores. • IGCSEs: Straight A* across all subjects. • IELTS: 8.5/9 • Fully bilingual in French and English (native-level in both). • Medical school entry: Successfully admitted into Medicine at the University of Manchester, with first-hand experience of competitive exam preparation and university applications. Subjects I Tutor: • French Baccalauréat (SVT, Physique-Chimie, French, English). • IGCSE & IB (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics). • Languages (French & English: writing, speaking, exam prep, conversation practice). • Exam Prep & Study Skills (time management, past paper strategies, high-performance methods).
