About Yusri
Hi! My name is Yusri, and I offer private tutoring in Mathematics and Physics. I am a dedicated and patient tutor who believes that every student is capable of understanding these subjects when they are explained clearly and step by step. My approach is friendly, structured, and personalized. I focus on building strong foundational understanding first, then guiding students through problem-solving techniques that help them gain confidence and improve their marks. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and learning style so that I can adapt my teaching to what works best for them. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify difficult concepts using clear explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, and logical reasoning. I aim to make lessons engaging and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and enjoy seeing their progress. I teach exclusively in English, and my lessons are suitable for students who are struggling, those who want to strengthen their basics, or those who are aiming to excel ahead of the class. A typical lesson with me includes a short review of previous work, a clear explanation of new content, guided practice, and feedback to help students improve continuously. I have tutored at various places before and have impacted many students. My passion for tutoring helps me bring my best to every session and to every student. As a third-year medical student with strong academic experience in mathematics and physics, I bring both subject knowledge and effective study strategies to every lesson. Approach to Private Tutoring
My tutoring approach is centred on building strong conceptual understanding and confidence. I begin by assessing each student’s current level—identifying strengths, gaps, and learning preferences. I then tailor lessons to their needs, using clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and real-life examples to make abstract ideas in Mathematics and Physics easier to understand.
What makes my teaching unique is my focus on simplifying complex concepts without losing accuracy. I use visual aids, diagrams, and guided problem-solving to help students develop real intuition rather than just memorising steps. I also prioritise a supportive and encouraging environment, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
