About Sophie
Hi there! My name is Sophie and I’m a foruth year medical student at the University of Bristol. I did my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths and sat the UCAT, gaining a score in the top 1% of applicants. I was interviewed by all 4 universities I applied to and achieved 3 offers from Bristol, Southampton and Sheffield. I’m always happy to have a chat about anything to do with the application process, life at medical school or anything else that you might be interested in!
I achieved A*s in both Biology and Physics at A-level, and was only one mark off an A* in Maths and got an A in Chemistry. In my GCSEs, I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography, as well as an A in the FSMQ.
I absolutely love teaching people and watching them develop confidence in their skills. I completely understand the anxieties that come with studying for A-levels and applying for medicine, and am happy to give my tips for surviving the process.

I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for everyone’s learning style, and I will ensure that you get the most out of every session by focusing on your individual goals for each lesson. We will work together to find the best strategies for you and help you to unlock your full potential. I have experience working with people with SEN, disabilities and other additional needs and will sensitively take into consideration any information you offer to tailor your experience. I tutor students from primary school (KS1 and KS2), 11+, KS3, KS4, GCSEs, and A-Levels, the UCAT, and medical school admissions.
