About Michael
I am a dedicated English tutor with a strong academic background in Law and Medicine, both of which rely heavily on clear writing, careful reading, and structured thinking.
Through my legal studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to analyse texts, build clear arguments, and write in a precise and organised way. As a medical student, I am trained to communicate clearly, break down complex information, and work methodically under pressure - skills that translate directly into effective GCSE English teaching.
When tutoring, I focus on helping students understand how to approach questions, structure their answers, and express ideas clearly and confidently. I take a patient, supportive approach and adapt lessons to each student’s needs, whether they require confidence-building, skills consolidation, or targeted exam preparation.
