About Leila
Hi, I'm Leila, a medical student at the University of Manchester with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Having previously tutored GCSE Chemistry, French and Spanish, I've seen how personalised support can improve both confidence and academic performance. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to make lessons engaging, encouraging and tailored to individual needs.
As someone who achieved A grades in Biology and Chemistry at A-level and ten Grade 9s at GCSE, I know first-hand the challenges of exam preparation and the importance of effective study techniques. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and achieving their academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence alongside subject knowledge. I tailor each lesson to the individual student's learning style, identifying areas of difficulty and adapting my teaching to help them make steady progress. I encourage students to ask questions and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable tackling challenging topics.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and combine clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style practice and regular review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I also focus on exam technique and effective revision strategies to help students achieve their best results.
I am a medical student at the University of Manchester with previous experience tutoring GCSE Chemistry, French and Spanish. Having achieved A grades in Biology and Chemistry at A-level and ten Grade 9s at GCSE, I understand the demands of these qualifications and can share the study techniques that helped me succeed.
