About Tanusri
Hi, I’m Tanusri, a medical student at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring science and maths (at GCSE level and below) for over 3 years now. As someone who has recently done her A Levels, I have a greater understanding of the concerns that students have going into exams in secondary school, having been in the same boat a couple years ago, and so I believe I can provide the holistic support students need to reach their full potential and excel academically. I am committed to working with the students to structure lessons in a way that provides them with the full benefit, accounting for any concerns they have to provide an enjoyable and productive learning experience.

I take great care in ensuring all my lessons are tailored to the individual and am open to any feedback or concerns you'd like to share with me to ensure we make the lesson as fruitful and comfortable as possible. I'm quite flexible in terms of lesson timings and would love to work together to create an experience that is beneficial and suitable for both our schedules and will make sure to spend some time getting to know where the student is at and how they learn best before we begin the lessons.
My teaching style consists of breaking down the one hour lesson's focus points at the start and then delving into each one at a pace suitable for the individual, ensuring they understand the topic fully before moving on to questions on all the content covered during the time to end the lesson. I typically use PowerPoints and interactive online resources to teach the lesson's content and do past paper questions from the get go to ensure the student understands mark scheme-specific language. I also find using small quizzes at the end of topics helps to summarise and gauge where the student is at before considering whether to move on or spend a bit more time on the topic, ensuring the student develops a full understanding of the content.
