About Dylan
Hi, I’m a friendly and motivated student currently applying to study Medicine. I’ve recently
completed National 5s and Highers across Maths, Sciences, and Modern Studies, and I’m now
studying Advanced Highers in Chemistry, Biology, and Modern Studies.
Having gone through the SQA system myself, I know how stressful exams can feel and how
confusing some topics can be at first.
That’s why I like to explain things in a simple, clear way and
help students build confidence step by step.
I’m patient, approachable, and easy to talk to, and I aim to make lessons relaxed while still focused
and productive. I genuinely enjoy helping others improve and seeing their confidence grow over
time.
Outside of studying, I’m working towards a career in Medicine, so I’m very motivated and
understand the importance of working consistently to achieve your goals.

My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs.
I focus on
building a strong understanding of key Maths topics, helping students feel more confident and
comfortable with the subject.
I break down difficult concepts into simple steps and guide students through worked examples
before giving them the opportunity to practise independently. A strong focus is placed on exam
technique, using SQA marking schemes and past paper questions to show students how to
maximise marks.
Lessons are interactive and adapted to suit each student, whether they need help catching up,
reinforcing knowledge, or aiming for top grades. I also provide tips on revision strategies, time
management, and problem-solving techniques.
My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel confident asking
questions and making progress each session.
