About Maryam
I am a very energetic and fun-loving person, and I can be patient yet serious when teaching. Although I don't enjoy studying, I recognize its importance and have developed strategies to overcome this challenge. I am committed to helping you as much as I can.
With extensive experience teaching students of various ages, including those preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, and Year 9, I have honed my communication skills and can connect with and support students effectively. My teaching methods are tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they grasp concepts thoroughly.
I provide detailed summaries after each lesson, outlining what we covered and our next learning objectives. I track student progress and maintain open communication with parents to keep them fully informed about their child's development. I prefer face-to-face teaching because, based on my experience, it significantly enhances the quality of learning compared to online methods.

As a student, I understand the difficulty of balancing lessons, studying, and social time. I created my own learning method and now help others find theirs, aiming to prepare for exams and reduce stress. I also assist with setting and achieving goals for university or future stages.
Each student is unique, so my approach varies. For math, I explain concepts until they're understood and questions are answered correctly, then move on. For biology and chemistry, I focus on connecting topics and understanding concepts, followed by quizzes to identify weak spots.
I believe a two-hour session without a break is ideal, with breaks included for longer sessions, though this may vary based on individual needs.

Perfect! Maryam is a great teacher, she adapts to my learning preferences and gives me a chance to explore what works best for me! She's happy to explain topics as many times as I need and her patience is a key strength. By also giving the time to do practice questions she consolidates my learning to help achieve top grades!
