About Maria
Hi! I am Maria and I am doing my thesis in the Master's Degree in Medical Microbiology.
I have always enjoyed learning and teaching and it was curiosity that brought me to Science!
I like to draw and I have a good ability to outline the class subject, so I take advantage of these skills to help the student throughout his learning process.

I have a degree in Biology, in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics, from the Faculty of Sciences of ULisboa, and am currently in the 2nd year of the Master in Medical Microbiology at UNL.
During classes I try to have a flexible, stimulating teaching method adapted to each student in order to trigger the curiosity and interest of each one!
I also help with homework and teach how to outline/summarize the material to make individual study more effective.
